Unfortunately, I cannot show any design here since the company’s privacy policy didn’t allow me to share internal screenshots.

Project
Foster PSP internal community and increase employee's engagement towards the company by rebuilding the old intranet.
Context
The old intranet was built on an old platform which wasn't mobile responsive, was technologically outdated and didn't promote the company's goals and mission among its employees.
According to an internal survey, employees wished they had a more user-friendly and informative intranet that would enable them to be more engaged and increase their sense of belonging.
According to an internal survey, employees wished they had a more user-friendly and informative intranet that would enable them to be more engaged and increase their sense of belonging.
My process for this project
User research
I helped create the questions to be asked to 400 people. Those questions aimed at knowing about people's habits, needs and pain points about the old intranet.
Results compilation, interpretation and classification
I compiled, interpreted and classified answers into logical topics and groups. This enabled the team to prioritize the work and give a value rating to each task.
Personas creation
Based on the answers from the survey, I created five personas to help target the design efforts and align the team on the real needs.
Site map creation
I created the site map and the navigation based on the content categorization and the taxonomy of the results.
Design drafts
I created the first wireframes in Figma and then transposed them into a SharePoint environment.
Final design
I added images, final icons and colours. Even though SharePoint is quite a stiff environment in terms of design, I successfully found a clever way to make it visually very appealing.
User testing phase
I created very specific missions for users to conduct throughout the intranet under observation. In almost all cases, results were very satisfying along with the comments. The intranet is now a centerpiece at PSP.
Impact
Based on the employees's feedback and analytic data, there is no comparison to be made with the old intranet. There is a massive engagement increase, people are better informed about the company they work for, and every department is now happy to have a stronger presence internally.
Reflection
Designing an intranet has proved a bit more complicated than I thought because every department has its own page and each of them is an additional client. The number of people involved, and had to be, was quite high. We wanted to have the same page format for all departments but some of them wanted a different template so we had to make compromises!
Project
Turn the evaluation of external portfolio managers and their portfolios into an enjoyable, more efficient and decentralized experience.
Context
Senior managers used a very complex and convoluted Excel file to evaluate external portfolio managers along with their portfolios, and create score sheets. It was decided to transfer and redesign this Excel file into a user-friendly Web application connected to a database.
My process for that project
Personas creation
Along with the client and the project manager, I created the personas and validated their needs for the new application.
New architecture
It took me a few weeks to analyse the complex Excel file and create the new architecture. Many pages were merged, split or regrouped into logical groups based on users's feedback.
Design drafts
I created the design system from scratch and the first wireframes in Figma. I worked very closely with the developers.
Final design
After client's validation of the first wireframes, I pushed the final design to the developers.
User testing phase
I didn't conduct the user test myself but the project manager was always in contact with the client and pass the comments back to me. Very few adjustments were made since all the needs were satisfied.
Impact
Upon showing the wireframes to the clients, the project was almost an instant success. They could easily see the added value. The final project was a great success. It enabled employees to speed up the evaluation process and work in a much more user-friendly environment.
Reflection
Having an Excel file to work with proved extremely useful as I could see the logic of the whole file and sheets without asking the client. It was like having a blueprint for the whole project. I also really liked creating the design system from scratch and lead all UX/UI efforts. I worked with in-house developers, product managers and the clients.
